Nestled in the heart of our beautiful gardens, The River & Range Café offers a fresh, seasonal menu crafted with care and packed with flavour.
The café has been part of The Herb Farm destination for many years and has played an important role in creating the relaxed, welcoming experience our visitors know and love.
In early 2026, The Herb Farm sold the café business to River & Range, who now independently own and operate the café at our 86 Grove Road, Ashhurst destination.
While the café is now a separate business, The Herb Farm and River & Range continue to work closely together on functions, events and experiences at the destination.
River & Range offers a fresh, seasonal menu with a range of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices.
Open daily 10:00am - 4:00pm.

The Herb Farm workshops are currently on hold while we review our offering and explore how we can keep them fresh, relevant and enjoyable for our customers. We hope to share more about the future of our workshop programme once this review is complete.
